Notes: This ram is out of DRL2237 - she is a "Crazy Carl" granddaughter. "Crazy Carl" TS2126 was the ram that Alvin Shoop and Bob Hunter bought from us in 2002. We traded Jodi Cobb a ram for a "Crazy Carl" son. We brought the ram back to CA and Dave Rose bred his whole brood ewe base to the ram. We selected 4 daughters out of this group. We only got one season out of the ram before we lost him. Dave Rose has purchased sheep from me over the past 10 years, so his broodewe base is full of my genetics. The "Crazy Carl" granddaughters are very traditional looking cheviot sheep - they are shorter to the ground, stout made with beautiful breed type. This ram TS201427 was 30" at the shoulder in Feb 2015 when I cut him out. He will not be an exceptionally tall ram. We want to retain half interest in this ram - the price listed is for half interest only. We will be using him for fall lambs this year, so he will be available for delivery in June at the National Sale. We transport sheep 3 times though out the year so sharing rams can be arranged for anywhere in the USA. Please email directly if you are interested in this ram. Tested QR.
